Binh Dinh attracted 62 projects worth $8 billion at its 2025 Investment Promotion Conference—a leap from 59 projects in 2024. The Nhon Hoi Economic Zone now covers 14,308 hectares hosting 394 projects with VND 145,695 billion registered capital. CMC Technology Group leads with $508 million plans for a GreenDC data center, submarine cable landing, and AI city initiative. Hero Future Energies secured $200 million for hydrogen production; Siemens Energy studies a $120 million hydrogen factory.
Quy Nhon Port serves as the Central Highlands' most convenient gateway to Cambodia and Laos. By 2028, a new deep-water port in Phu My will handle industrial cargo while Quy Nhon transitions to tourism. The Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh complex spans 1,000 hectares with four urban areas planned. The Quy Nhon-Pleiku Expressway (2027 completion) improves highland connectivity.
