The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhiker's trilogy begins here
"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
— Douglas Adams
My Review
This book has absolutely nothing to do with Biological First Principles for Business. Not a single thing. There are no frameworks here, no mechanisms, no heuristics. It will not help you build a better organisation. However, everyone should read it because it is absolute nonsense and we need more of that in the world. Don't Panic.
Why It Matters
It doesn't. That's the point. Sometimes the most important thing you can do is read something that has no practical application whatsoever.
Key Ideas
- Don't Panic
- The answer is 42 (the question remains unclear)
- A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have
- Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.
How It Connects to This Framework
Nothing in this framework. Absolutely nothing. Which is rather refreshing, isn't it?
