Gabor-Granger Technique

Origin: Pricing research

Biological Parallel

Young animals learn optimal foraging strategies through trial-and-error price testing. Crows experimentally drop different nut species from varying heights, directly measuring the effort required to crack each type. After repeated trials at different "price points" (drop heights), they converge on optimal strategies for each nut species. This iterative testing of price-demand relationships through direct experimentation mirrors Gabor-Granger's sequential price testing to map demand curves empirically rather than theoretically.
