Predators experience conversion funnels: detection (spot 100 prey) → pursuit (chase 30) → capture attempt (catch 10) → kill (secure 3) → consumption (eat 1, after competitors steal portions). Each stage has conversion rate and drop-off analysis. Marketing funnels mirror predatory efficiency: awareness doesn't guarantee interest, interest doesn't guarantee trial, trial doesn't guarantee purchase. Measuring stage-by-stage conversion reveals where energy is wasted, exactly as foraging efficiency analysis does.
