Jet Airways' 2019 grounding ended India's oldest private airline after cash ran out to fuel planes. The company had been India's second-largest carrier but couldn't survive competition from IndiGo and government-backed Air India. The mechanism failure was cost structure mismatch against low-cost competitors.
