Jensen Motors

Automotive · Founded 1934

Jensen Motors' multiple failures (1976, revival attempts through 2011) demonstrated the impossibility of reviving specialist British car brands. The company that made the Interceptor - one of the most beautiful GT cars - couldn't survive oil crises, quality issues, or the economics of specialist manufacturing. Multiple revival attempts failed. Jensen demonstrated that some brands exist only as historical artifacts, not viable businesses.
